Alcaidesa Golf Club, Cadiz

This is a course with a typically Scottish design, right next to the beach at Cadiz and offering spectacular views out over the sea.

It is the first links-style course in Spain and is very different from all of the other courses in the area.

Consisting of a round of 18 holes and with a par of 72, it is a smooth course and on a clear day you can see Africa.

The most spectacular features of the round are the natural dunes around the holes and the ever-present sea.

It is situated a mere 5 minutes from Sotogrande, and 124.6 kilometers on the motorway from Sotogrande and La Línea.

The location means there is a wide choice of tourist accommodation in the surrounding area such as the Hotels San Roque Suits, Atalaya, El Paraíso, Don Carlos, Don Miguel and Puente Romano, to name but a few.
