The Club de Golf Altorreal (Altorreal Golf Club) first opened its doors for business in 1994. Situated halfway between Alicante and La Manga; just North West of Murcia it is set in scenic surroundings. A good variety of olive, carob and pine trees have been planted amongst a mixture of hilly and flat holes, making for an attractive layout.

This par 72 course is made up of 18 holes (some very difficult) measuring a total of 6,239 metres. Designed in the shape of two 9 hole curves that meet at the same point, its main feature must be its uneven greens flanked by bunkers.

Facilities at the club include; buggy hire, lockers, pro shop, golf lessons, driving range, putting green, changing rooms and parking. A restaurant can also be found on site.
