Girona is a classic Fred Hawtree design, the course is located between valleys and hills and pine and olive trees. Perfectly adapted to its environment, it is a enjoyable and challenging course for all types of players.  The greens are lightening fast and three putting is common if your ball lands on the wrong part of the green.

Golf Girona was inaugurated in 1992. The course was designed by the prestigious architect F.G Hawtre, with 18 holes, par 72, covering a distance of 6,100 meters. This is the only course in Spain that has been seeded with "Pencross".

The big efforts done by Golf Girona to improve the Golf Course facilities gave it three and a half stars recognition by the prestigious Europe guide "Golf Fee Card" in its 2002 edition.
